87008 VersaPlate

The 87008 VersaPlate is 24" long by 41/2" wide with four 1/4" punched holes on each side of the center tube channel. The new plate main features are the longer length and the punched holes. Plus, it can be used with 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" pex tube. The longer length means fewer plates and the punched holes make it easy to install and helps to eliminate noise. The holes can be used for mounting in joist cavities, nailed with sleepers above the subfloor, or to stud walls. By choosing nails smaller than the holes, you can eliminate expansion noise caused by tight nailing.
